At the USB Implementer’s forum plug fest in Santa Clara, CA, Vreelin Eng. Inc. passed USB logo certification testing for a High Speed USB 2.0 device using the Vreelin device core and firmware on both the Altera NIOS2 platform and the Xilinx Microblaze EDK platform.  Both the Altera and Xilinx development boards were equipped with SMSC daughter cards containing the SMSC3300 USB ULPI PHY.
